Zavi Kang Engles is a poet, writer, and activist living in the Chicago Lake Plain bioregion. Zavi seeks to inspire others to heal themselves and the world through art, poetry, storytelling, and collaborative world-building.
Her institutional credentials include a BA in English and Urban Studies from Pitzer College, MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago, and Fulbright scholarship to Argentina (2015-2016).
